2014 Hours and Admission Information

Looking for something to do inside, as Jack Frost brings in the new year?  Come  discover Jule Körner’s designs and architectural styles with the whole family.  The house boasts fifteen original fireplaces, sure to keep you warm- no matter how low the thermometer drops!

Körner’s Folly’s twenty-two rooms feature unique furnishings and artwork, cast-plaster details, carved woodwork, and elaborate hand-laid tile.  Public tour hours are Thursday-Saturday, 10am-4pm, and Sunday, 1pm-4pm.  Tours last approximately 1 hour; visitors must arrive by 3pm each day.  Private guided group tours are available by appointment for groups of 10 or more Mondays-Wednesdays.  Our private tours fill up fast, please call (336) 996-7922 today to schedule yours!

This year promises continued restoration work on our beloved landmark, inside and out.  Future plans include replacing the Folly’s deteriorating roof and chimneys and beginning the first steps toward interior restoration to bring Körner’s Folly back to all of its Victorian splendor.  Be sure to check out our progress as the year continues!
