Körner’s Folly offers a variety of educational programming and resources for all ages. Educational programs highlight history, architecture, performing arts, and art history through curriculum-based tours and activities.
While Korner’s Folly is temporarily closed to the public, check out resources to create your own virtual field trip here!
Are you looking for a unique and educational field trip for your class, summer camp, homeschool group, or daycare? For educators, Körner’s Folly offers programs structured to provide students with meaningful experiences in local history that are aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops are invited to earn badge and patch requirements at Körner’s Folly. Whether it’s through our Körner’s Folly Patch Program or on a private, guided tour, we have programs customizable for scouts of all ages.
Where is the only room where hot and cold exist in separate corners? Do you know what instruments the Körner family played? Can you find shapes in the tile on Körner’s Folly’s porches? From brainteasers to crossword puzzles; crafts to scavenger hunts, Körner’s Folly has educational opportunities for all ages.
