For over a century, this unique home has been an enchanting holiday destination. Adorned with period decorations, tours transport you to Jule Körner’s world of Victorian extravagance. Körner’s Folly is transformed in the holidays with floor-to-ceiling garland, lights, and Christmas trees in nearly every room. Tours and special events promise visitors of all ages holiday cheer and an unforgettable experience!
Be sure to keep Körner’s Folly in mind for unique, local, holiday gifts. Our gift shop carries custom items that reflect local character and history. Many of these wonderful gifts can be purchased here, as well as, at the physical gift shop in Aunt Dealy’s Cottage during holiday hours. Every purchase benefits Körner’s Folly.

Wednesdays –Saturdays: 10am – 5pm
Holiday tours last approximately 1 hour. Amateur photography is allowed. Visitors must arrive one hour prior to closing each day (4pm). Tour Admission: adults $10, children (6-18) $6, Under 6 free.
*Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, January 6

Come hear the Körner’s spin on the classic 1820s poem by Clement Clarke Moore, fun for children of all ages and the young at heart! The Puppet Show is followed by a visit from Santa. Parents, bring your camera for this great photo opportunity!

Are you looking for a new, festive holiday tradition? Make the trip to South Main Street in Kernersville this December! On Saturday December 8, 2018 three Kernersville destinations are teaming up to create an enchanting holiday destination. As you stroll down South Main Street, stop at the Kernersville Moravian Church to listen to music of the season, shop for some last minute Christmas gifts, and visit the traditional Moravian tavern. Continue on to Körner’s Folly to explore the 1880’s house museum adorned in Victorian Christmas décor, and then finish up at the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Gardens where you can find unique gifts and inspiration for holiday decorating.
Christmas by Candlelight Tours
This is our most popular event of the holiday season! Enjoy self-guided tours of the house beautifully decorated in the evening hours. Hear live Christmas carolling, storytelling, and talk with costumed guides stationed throughout the house. Meander through all 22 whimsically decorated rooms at your own pace.
Last tour leaves at 8:30pm.
*On Candlelight days, the last tickets for regular, daytime tours are sold at 4pm. Candlelight Tours & Ticket Sales begin at 5pm.
