Girls Scout Patch Release Party

CALLING ALL GIRL SCOUTS! JOIN US TO EARN A BRAND NEW PATCH AT KÖRNER’S FOLLY!

Historic Körner’s Folly is participating with the Peaks 2 Piedmont Girl Scout Council to host a Girl Scout event this fall. On October 25, from 9am-12pm, Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to Körner’s Folly to learn about historic games and Victorian traditions. Girls of all ages, who are not currently Girl Scouts are also invited to attend to learn more about Girl Scouting.

This hands-on learning experience is a perfect way to earn a brand new patch, created by local Junior Troop 41029.  Troop 41029 will earn their Bronze Award by creating this patch.  Event attendees will tour Körner’s Folly, see the Körner’s Folly Family Revue Puppet Show, play historic games, dress in costumes, and more. This is a great opportunity for girls to explore Victorian history and traditions while connecting what they learn to the present day.

Please visit our event page to register. Current Girl Scout Troops invited. Not currently a girl scout? No worries! If you have a daughter interested in scouting, register and join us. This event is a great way to meet local Girl Scouts and learn more about Girl Scouting. The deadline to register is October 13 and space is limited, so register today!

Please contact info@kornersfolly.org, or call (336) 996-7922 with questions. Historic house museum, Körner’s Folly, is open for self-guided tours Thursday-Saturday (10am-4pm) and Sunday (1-4pm). Guided group tours are available by appointment.
