Product Description

Joseph of Kernersville, 2002 edition.  A re-publication with updated geneological tables by John G. Wolfe III.  Joseph of Kernersville was originally written by J. Gilmer Körner, Jr. and published in 1958.  This book gives insight into the life of Joseph Kerner, founder of the Town of Kernersville, in the late 1700s and early 1800s.  Family history of Joseph’s children and grandchildren is likewise chronicled during the 1800s, including the life of Jule Körner, the famous builder of Körner’s Folly.  Genealogy of the Kirner, Kerner, and Körner families is traced from the early 1600s to the present.  For those interested in the early history of Forsyth County, the Moravian Settlements of Salem and Friedland, or the early history of the Town of Kernersville, this is a book one should not pass up the opportunity to read.

100% of proceeds from the sale of this book go to Körner’s Folly’s Operation Restoration campaign.
