Historic Körner’s Folly Brick circa 1880

Product Description

Own a one of a kind piece of the Folly! We salvaged these Historic Körner’s Folly bricks from the 2012 porch restoration, which were handcrafted on the property when Jule Gilmer Körner first built his home in 1878-1880.  After 133 years of weathering, each of the Folly’s hand-fired North Carolina clay bricks has its own uniquely beautiful historic character. These limited inventory keepsakes come attached with metal authenticating plates and make great decorative pieces for any home, office, or studio. $47 of each brick sold is a tax deductible contribution, going directly to our restoration campaign.  Just as these bricks were used to build the Folly in 1880, they are now being used to rebuild this historic landmark.
